Quick Experiment - Christoffer Relander
After having researched Christoffer Relander, I wanted to quickly experiment with his style. Using a image I had taken from my camera, and a image from here, I combained the two to create something similar to Relanders style of mixing natural images of forestry with portraiture.
Overall, I am pleased with how this piece turned out - though it is not something I would like to further develop in my project. The models expression in this image is very calm, mimicing the tranquil leaves from the second image. I originally had planned to only have the models face and hair showing the leaves, however I found that erasing each tiny piece of hair away from the pattern on the models shirt would look unprofessional and leave too much room for error.
Although I will not be continuing this style further, I did enjoy experimenting and creating this image.

Process:
- Opened first image in Photoshop
- Opened second image in photoshop. Photo was taken from: www.treesdirect.co.uk
- Cut image and pasted it on top of first image.
- Erased the second image, leaving only what I needed on top of the models face and hands.
- Edited opacity so the first image showed through.
